I bet you know what I’m talking about.
You experience it when you hit rock bottom. When you say: “That’s it, I’ve had it …no more!” You also experience it when you feel regret for not have taken the action long ago. When you think: “Gosh, where would I be now had I started two years earlier?” Or something like that.
You and I, we, can’t reverse time. We can’t get more of it, nor can we go back in time. Thus, we got to focus. Focus on what’s essential. Now.
While today’s post is a bit ironic (I’m typing this and having to drink a LOT of tea to get healthy again, shitty cough!), it’s also useful. Why? Because this week I focus on getting healthy again. I’m literally sick and tired of being sick and tired. It’s absolutely true what they say…
When you’re healthy you worry about all kinds of things. But if you’re ill (like I am right now) you just want to get back to where you were the day before—healthy. You get that?
I can’t believe how obvious that is. And yet, during our everyday lives, we forget it completely. There are so many things craving and shouting for our attention. We are in constant reaction. Day in and day out.
And, maybe sometimes, an illness can be the solution.
Or a beginning.
Or a revelation.
P. S. I need to get back to bed. That’s why the ending might be a little bit abrupt/surprising. Don’t take it personally. Just really need to rest/relax/sleep.
